Mumbai: Star couple Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul have revealed that they have named their newborn daughter Iwara, which means “gift of God”.
Athiya and Rahul revealed their daughter’s name in a colleague post on Instagram. He also shared a beautiful picture of the cricketer holding the child, while Athiya looked at him with love.
“Our baby girl, our everything. The gift of God ~ The gift of God.”

The couple took their Instagram Story section and shared that their daughter has been named Iwara, VR (Ivarah Vipula Rahul). ,
The Post further read: “Ivara, God means gift. Vipula, in honor of his great grandmother and protector. Rahul, his father.”
It was on 24 March, when Rahul and Athiya announced the arrival of their small bundle-off-joy. He announced on social media.
The new parents shared a joint post, announcing the arrival of their baby girl. With his announcement, Athiya and Rahul posted a painting of two swans with the message, “Blessed with a baby girl.”
The child was born on 24 March, as mentioned in the picture “24-03-2025.” It is the first child of the couple.
In November last year, Athiya and Rahul took their pregnancy news on Instagram to share the news. The note reads, “Our beautiful blessings are coming soon. 2025.”
On March 12, the actress shared glimpses with KL Rahul with her beautiful maternity shoot. Along with the pictures, the couple just captioned, “Oh, baby.”
Among the images, Athiya, who is known for films like “Hero”, “Mubarakan” and “Motichur Chaknachur”, displayed her growing baby bump as she posed for love with her husband. In a picture, Athiya was sitting on a couch, in which Rahul gave his head rest on his lap.
For Anward, Rahul and Athiya first crossed the road through a mutual friend in January 2019, and they immediately shut it down. Over the years, his bond became stronger, which brought a relationship to a relationship.
After dating for many years, the couple tied the knot in 2023. He was married in Khandla at Athiya’s father Sunil Shetty’s farmhouse.
