“The purpose of justice is to provide closure and give us the space to create a new chapter. Women never get that. I feel validated. Today is a victory not just for me, but for women all over the world,” O’Day wrote on X, adding, “Things are finally changing.”

O’Day also reshared a journalist’s post, reminding people how O’Day was trying to draw attention to Diddy’s abusive nature. “For years, @AubreyODay has been trying to draw attention to Diddy’s abusive nature and warn people that he is dangerous. For years. In return for her courage, she has been threatened, terrorized, and intimidated,” Yashar Ali wrote.

Sharing the post, O’Day wrote, “He did worse to me than that. And thank you Yashir for this post. Thank you for standing by me and believing in me.”

O’Day also responded to a user who urged her to “speak out sooner” about Combs’ arrest. “I chose to speak to people who could move justice forward the way I needed to see it. I’ve been speaking out. I never underestimated that,” O’Day said.

Diddy reportedly reassigned Bad Boy publishing rights to silence Aubrey O’Day

O’Day previously alleged that Diddy tried to assign publishing rights to Bad Boy Records artists in an effort to buy her silence. “I got the publishing deal. I know what it said. I know how much money it was paying me,” the former Danity Kane singer said in a sneak peek of a new TMZ doc – TMZ Presents: The Downfall of Diddy.

However, O’Day refused to sign the deal. She claimed she was to be paid $300.30 to be “fully released from all claims against Diddy and several other players.” When asked what she thought prompted Diddy to give up the rights, O’Day said, “I think you’re probably taking steps to keep as many people quiet as possible.”
