The upcoming film, ‘The Mehta Boys’, which marks the directorial debut of Boman Irani, was screened at the Indian Film Festival Berlin, Germany. The film stars Avinash Tiwari, Boman Irani, Shreya Chaudhary and Pooja Sarup. It tells a heart-touching story about the father-son bond and the nuances of their strained relationship.
As ‘The Mehta Boys’ opens the Indian Film Festival Berlin, Avinash Tiwari expresses excitement and calls the moment a “huge honour”.

The film is produced by Boman Irani, Danesh Irani, Vikesh Bhutani and Shujaat Saudagar. ‘The Mehta Boys’ is written by Academy Award winner Alex Dinelaris Jr., writer of ‘Birdman’ and ‘The Revenant’. This film is going to be released soon on Prime Video.
Earlier, Avinash, who shared the screen with actress Tamannaah Bhatia in the streaming film ‘Sikandar Ka Muqaddar’, had recalled his earliest memories of meeting the actress. The actor told that he first met Tamanna when she was in 9th class.
Avinash revealed, “I don’t know how many of you know this, but I met Tamanna for the first time when she was in class 9. I had just completed my 12th class, I wanted to act and I attended an acting workshop. I was quite small compared to other people present there, but I did not know that there was someone even smaller than me present there and that was Tamanna. Even at that time, he had a remarkable presence”.
“Years passed, and when I saw him in films, I couldn’t believe whether he was the same person I had met in the workshop. But now, upon meeting her again on the set, my first impression of her was that she was incredibly warm and that made it very easy to work with”, he adds.
