Babygirl Trailer: Nicole Kidman’s Romy is having an affair with an intern played by Harris Dickinson. The film will release this Christmas.
The trailer for Nicole Kidman’s highly anticipated next film is here! The Academy Award winner plays a highly successful businesswoman who becomes embroiled in a dangerous relationship with a much younger intern, played by Triangle of Sadness star Harris Dickinson, in Babygirl. The trailer begins with the first meeting between Nicole and Harris’ characters, where she sees him petting an aggressive dog outside the office. She is in a powerful position, and is amazed by the confidence shown by this young apprentice, saying that she is a ‘power-hungry person’. The two soon begin an affair that threatens to derail both her personal life (the trailer gives a glimpse of her husband, played by Antonio Banderas) and her professional life.
In an earlier interview with Vanity FairNicole shared that Babygirl has left her exposed like never before. “As an actor, as a woman, as a human being I felt very exposed. I had to go in and go out like, I have to put my guard back on. What did I just do? Where did I go What did I do?” He said.

Babygirl had its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival last month, where it received an excellent response. Nicole ultimately won the coveted Best Actress award there, making her a strong contender to earn an Oscar nomination. Director Helena Reason accepted the award on Kidman’s behalf and shared a statement on her behalf.
“I’m in shock, and I have to go to my family, but this award is for her. I’m so grateful that I got the chance to tell you all her name. The collision of life and art is heartbreaking, and my Heartbroken,” Kidman wrote in the statement.
The film will be released in US theaters on December 25 by A24.
