‘Badmaash Ravi Kumar’ Trailer: Himesh Reshammiya’s hilarious tribute to 80s Bollywood masala cinema

Trailer of Himesh Reshammiya’s upcoming film, scoundrel ravi kumarIt was unveiled by the makers on Sunday (January 4). The larger than life retro action musical film is set to release in theaters on February 7.

The trailer begins with a romantic introduction that paves the way for chainsaw-wielding Ravi Kumar (Reshammiya) to bisect his enemies. Spin-off of Reshammiya’s famous character Ravi Kumar in the film expose, The film is said to be “a grand tribute to the golden era of Bollywood, offering high-octane action, unforgettable characters and a story steeped in the masala magic of the 80s.”

Introducing the cast and their characters, the makers’ statement said, “Prabhu Deva surprises as Carlos Pedro Panther, a larger-than-life villain whose menace and style steal the show. Kirti Kulhari shines as Laila, a dynamic and courageous character, while Sanjay Mishra as Rana, Johnny Lever as Rana, Manish Wadhwa as Zaid Bashir, Anil George as Bhujang, Rajesh Sharma as Jagawar Choudhary. In, Prashant Narayan as Mahavir Ahuja, Saurabh Sachdeva as Awasthi and Sunny Leone as Nisha lead a journey of intrigue in the film’s action-packed world. Add more layers. Simona is introduced as Madhubala in the film, playing one of the lead roles opposite Himesh in the film.

Directed by Keith Gomes and produced by Himesh Reshammiya Melodies, the film is scripted by Kushal Bakshi and Himesh Reshammiya. Bunty Rathore has written the dialogues.

With music and background score composed by Reshammiya, the film’s cinematography is by Manoj Soni and editing by Ram Eshwar.
