Bajrangi Bhaijaan at 10: Kabir Khan says the film ‘Ghanga’ audiences worldwide

New Delhi: Filmmaker Kabir Khan celebrated the 10th anniversary of his popular Salman Khan-conclusive ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ on Thursday, saying that the film continues to make people laugh and cry even today.

The film, which also included Kareena Kapoor Khan and Harshali Malhotra, were released on 17 July 2015 for universal praise.

Khan posted on his Instagram page, “Happy Bajrangi Day is difficult to believe that it has been 10 years because Bajrangi Bhaijaan found his way in the hearts of people for the first time.”

“In the last decade I have been completely overwhelmed that this film keeps accumulating all over the world. We are ready to tell a story of love and hope in a world that sometimes forgets these feelings.

In its heart, the film was about a silent Pakistani girl and an Indian person lost in India, who goes to a big length to connect her with her family.

Salman played the role of Pawan, a Lord Hanuman devotee, Kareena starred as Rasika, his love interest, and Malhotra as Munni, Pakistani who is lost in India.

When it was released in theaters, “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” became a huge box office, praising the film for a combination of emotional story, strong performance and a message of humanity with critics to become a huge box office.

At the time of the release of the film, seven -year -old Malahotra also marked the 10th anniversary of the film.

“Munni was innocent, calm, but took the entire soul of the film. She trusted. She loved. She felt. And all of you loved her with a kind of warmth, for which I still have no words.

“Behind the curtain, I was a child, curious, playful, but also very sensitive.

Violent scenes worried me. I cover my ears, hide behind chairs, sometimes cry because I did not understand what is happening, “he said.

Malhotra also said that the set of “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” became his “safe place”.

“Salman sir made me feel protected, such as the hottest uncle. Kabir sir turned every scene into a story, not only from acting. From acting. From Dadas to Makeup Didi, everyone used to treat me as I was my own.

“We shot on icy mountains and dusty streets, laughing, shared laddus, and sometimes, even cried together,” he said.

Malhotra said that whenever people see him, they call it Munni.

He said, “I still get messages from all over the world, tell me how deep he has touched his hearts. After a decade, that love has not faded,” he said.

“Bajrangi Bhaijaan” also featured Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Sharat Saxena, Meher Vij and Om Puri in pivolel roles.
