Bangalore -based Theater Group, Samashati, celebrates 25 years with a three -day theater festival

Bangalore -based Theater Group, Samarthi, celebrated its Silver Jubilee with a three -day theater festival in Bengaluru between 3 and 5 June. It will give stage to three of its popular comedy in color.

There are three staged plays Neeru Kudicida Nereyaru, Mukkam Post Bombilwadi And Miss Sadaram.

The first drama is based on Shakespeare My wives of Windsor. ,The drama weaves the situation that makes the ease together and we have adapted it to its language and culture, “Salashti a senior member and director of the play calls Manjunath L Bedigar.” The incidents play in a city called Tekankanambi in the Masuru region. ,

Mukkam Post Bombilwadi Will be staged on 5 June. An emotional Manjunath, who had studied theater in Ninasam, revealed that his theater journey put wings with Samarati and he completed 25 years in the group. “The way we formed Samarati, the three of us were actively inducted into street plays. Ravindra says that Samashati was started with the aim of searching for new candidates, training them in all aspects of theater and bringing them to the mainstream of Kannada Theater. “Once we get out of the actual waves, we wanted to start on our own and till date we have staged 23 plays with Samashati. All our plays are based on published plays, novels and poetry. The basis of selecting plays is to produce a new production, a concept that we like.”

Samashati game Church The 3 is the winner of the Meta Awards and is staged at the NSD’s International Theater Festival, Bahuupi of Bharat Rang Mahotsav and Rangayana.
