Amidst the ongoing trend of re-releases, the makers Bareilly Barfi It has also been decided to give the audience a dose of nostalgia.
The film, starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Kriti Sanon and Rajkummar Rao in the lead roles, is all set to return to the big screen.
This film will be re-released in theaters on 7 February 2025.
The makers shared the announcement on Instagram and captioned it, “This Valentine’s, celebrate love and friendship and fill sweetness with us in your life Barfi, #barelikibarfi Will be re-released in theaters on 7th February.
Directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, Bareilly Barfi Originally released on August 18, 2017. It also featured Pankaj Tripathi and Seema Pahwa in lead roles.
The update regarding the re-release of the film in theaters has made fans extremely excited.

Last year the film completed seven years.
Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari shared several old pictures from the making of the film on her Instagram.
Ashwini Iyer Tiwari expressed gratitude and wrote, “7 years #barelikibarfiGratitude for the love. And especially for you cinema loving Amma. i made Bareilly Barfi When the children were 5 years old. But with your immense faith in me, and telling me that there is no reason to feel guilty about pursuing your dream.”
She further added, “Your words ‘I am there’ gave me wings to walk on my unknown path and that is why I started making films. Now when I look back there are so many stories that I will always remember.” I hope to continue telling stories and making you proud.”
Bareilly BarfiRevolves around Bitti (Kriti Sanon), an independent-minded young girl who lives life on her own terms, and refuses the pressure of getting married.
Her life changes when she meets Chirag Dubey (Ayushmann Khurrana), the owner of a printing press, and she expresses her desire to meet her favorite writer Pritam Vidrohi (Rajkummar Rao).
