‘Bazuka’ Movie Review: Mammuti’s gaming thriller is a dull, patchley-written film

Sometimes those who grow some time can redeem a film, even if it can hurt the downhill to that point. But, in debut under Dino Dennis direction bazookaIt is believed that the redemption arc comes beyond a point where most of us would have stopped taking care of the characters or the plot. It comes almost like a dessert that comes after a tasteless main course that felt your stomach. For dessert, beyond dressing at the top, it becomes the same old below it.

In Embrace, Rarely a moment passes without a background score. In a film tailor for superstar fans, a good part of this score is dedicated to pronounce every random movement. This begins from the time when we see John Caesar (Mamooty) at a bus stop, read a self-halp book and just wait for-within which is a good part of the film. But then, ACP Benjamin Joshua (Gautham Vasudev Menon) also gets the same treatment when we first see him out of our car to check a regular vehicle. This is not surprising in a film that survives mostly on its cosmetics.

It is prepared as a gaming thriller, for the simple reason that the eligible games are played, including a person who plays it loudly inside the bus, a lot for the discomfort of others. Caesar, a forensic specialist traveling in the bus, is trying to help the police track a criminal mastermind that gives them a clue before every heir. Most of this story is told through his never-ending, patchley-written interaction with his dancing neighbor (Hakim Shah), who is also a noise gamer.

It is accompanied by some action sequences with a biker gang, which has nothing to do with the story, which is other than the Star’s action -proof show. Some writers and filmmakers resorted to the name of “fan service”, which is a kind of dissatisfaction for the actor as well as his fans.

The police investigation is completely another joke, especially decoding some clues. Some rows that appear as filters for the scene are inadvertently comic. When a police officer says that the mastermind may be a psychiatry, the ACP said, “Let’s not glorify him”. A surprise in which parallel world psychopath is a word used for glorious. The screenplay for most parts, is a goalless mission of events, which fails to stimulate us, indicate to encourage us despite the signals through the background score.

For a branded film as “gaming thriller”, bazooka Ends as a dull film, with barely an exciting passed, worthy of the star that is believed to be celebrating.
