The BBC said on Monday (June 30, 2025) that it should have drawn a vibrancy of the performance of Rap Group Bob Waln at the Glustonabury Festival on Antimetic Mantras against Israeli soldiers.
The British Broadcaster came under heavy criticism on Saturday (June 28, 2025) to broadcast the performance of Rap Punk Duo, when rapper Bobby Waln led the crowd to participate in the UK’s largest summer concert in the mantras of “Free, Free Palestine” and “Death, IDF”.
BBC On Monday, it said that it “respects freedom of expression, but stands firmly against the abetment to violence.”
“The antisemtic feelings expressed by Bob Valn were completely unacceptable and had no place on our airwaves,” said this.
Broadcaster face backlash
The British Prime Minister Kir Stmper condemned the mantras, saying that there was no excuse for such “horrific indecent language”.

Rap group release statement
Bob Valn, formed in 2017, has issued four albums addressing issues to do racism, masculinity and class. Its two members keep their real names secret for both secrecy reasons.
