New Delhi: Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan did not do well at the box office and till date the producers are incurring losses. It has been claimed that half of the crew members of the film have not received their money and are crying over their dues. Pooja Entertainment’s production owners Vashu and Jacky Bhagnani have opened up about the losses they have suffered after the failure of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Jacky Bhagnani has revealed in his recent statement that Akshay Kumar has intervened and made it clear to him that he can withhold his fees until the other crew members get their dues.
Jackie said in his statement, “Akshay Sir recently met me to discuss this matter. Upon learning about the situation, Akshay Sir did not hesitate to come forward and show his support to the crew. He has insisted that payments be put on hold until every single crew member who worked on our project receives their full and final payment. We are incredibly grateful for Akshay Sir’s understanding and his willingness to stand by us during this time. The film business is built on strong relationships and that is the spirit we strive to foster in the industry”.
Not just Akshay Kumar but Tiger Shroff has also been paid his fees for Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. It is reported that the actor has also expressed his support for the crew members and wants the producers to pay the dues of all the crew members who have given their all in making the film.
Pooja Entertainment reportedly owes payments worth around Rs 2.5 crore to the entire crew members of ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’.
