James Gunn’s upcoming DC Studios film Superman has added a new face to its cast, Saturday Night Live veteran Beck Bennett. Bennett, who spent eight seasons on SNL from 2013 to 2021, is set to play one of the notable reporters at the Daily Planet, as confirmed The Hollywood Reporter,

DC Studios has not yet revealed any information about his character. The film, which is being shot in Atlanta, stars David Corenswet as Clark Kent/Superman and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, while Nicholas Hoult plays iconic villain Lex Luthor. The Hollywood Reporter,
The film features an impressive list of classic Superman characters. Skyler Gisondo will play Jimmy Olsen, Sara Sampaio will play Eve Teschmacher, and Wendell Pierce will play the formidable editor-in-chief Perry White.
In addition, several DC heroes will also appear in it, which will add depth to the story. Edi Gathegi has been cast as Mister Terrific, Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, Isabella Merced as Hawkgirl, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner and Maria Gabriela de Faria as the Engineer.
