Canadian actor Spencer LoFranco, best known for his roles in Gotti and Angelina Jolie’s Unbroken, died on November 18, 2025, at the age of 33. His brother announced his demise through an Instagram post.
Fans have since revisited his last Instagram posts and livestreams, which revealed he was trying to recover from personal struggles and rebuild his life.

LoFranco says last live, “taking a break to recover”
In his last online public appearance, LoFranco told his followers that he was “taking a break to heal” and according to a follower who watched his last Instagram Live, he has been “clean for 5 days.”
In a now-deleted Instagram Live, he also said, “Hey guys…if you don’t hear from me…that’s why. I need to take some rest…make sure I’m exactly who I want to be in 2026, so be careful,” the primetimer explained.
Lofranco’s last Instagram post, shared on November 11, has also been flooded with comments from her fans. She posted a black-and-white selfie with the hopeful note, “The best is yet to come.”
One fan wrote, “We all had such hope for his recovery and comeback. If this is true, my deepest condolences to his family. He will definitely be missed. I hope he is at peace now. This is so sad. RIP Bearflix 💔🕊”
According to PrimeTimer, he also expressed excitement about getting his facial tattoos removed and jokingly asked people to “subscribe to my OnlyFans”.

Friends and fans were expecting a comeback
Fans have commented under her post on Instagram, with the post being seen as a hint at a possible comeback.
After working on Gotti, LoFranco disappeared from the entertainment business. In a 2018 Brennan Taylor YouTube video, she talked about selling her art while living on the Venice Beach boardwalk, PrimeTimer reports.
While away from business, the former actor has been posting pictures and videos on TikTok and Instagram.
In an earlier reel, LoFranco shared with his followers in August, he addressed critics and reflected on his life. He said he did not regret where his journey took him, even though some people criticized him harshly. He described himself as “a student of my own life”, facing deep personal challenges while trying to move forward.
According to TMZ, LoFranco died in British Columbia, Canada, and his death is now under investigation. The cause of his death has not been known yet.
