Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have reportedly decided not to rekindle their relationship, and have no plans to get back together. However, sources close to the couple say it’s not time to end their love story just yet. Although they’re certainly facing some hurdles along the way, a complete separation doesn’t seem likely. The couple recently celebrated their second wedding anniversary away from each other after being apart for over a month and insiders believe ‘the marriage is already over.’
It is not possible for Ben and Jen to get back together
The former lovebirds, who once broke off their engagement and went their separate ways with other partners, found love in each other again a decade later and got married. As they celebrated their second wedding anniversary on opposite coasts, a source told Fox News, “They are not getting back together.”
The insider also revealed that the pop star was determined to make the marriage work at all costs, but The Accountant 2 star now seems like a different person to her. “They are not trying to work it out,” they added.
No plans to announce ‘split’
The couple has been living separately for over a year. Ben has been staying in a rented house in Brentwood, while JLo has mostly been vacationing to escape L.A. However, despite not being back together, the source claimed, “They have no plans to announce they’re no longer a couple right now.” Lopez is currently in the Hamptons, while Affleck is in Los Angeles. “They have no plans to announce that anytime soon.”

‘JLo wants to be there for Ben’s kids’
Some reports say that Ben found his eldest daughter Violet’s relationship with the Jenny From the Block singer ‘a little difficult’, which is probably one of the reasons why he can’t get over it just yet. Violet and J.Lo were also spotted having fun together in the Hamptons. While this family bond was forming, Ben stayed in California and focused on filming.
“Violet and all the kids have been close to JLo who [why] “Violet is in the Hamptons with JLo,” the source told Fox.
She added, “JLo wants to be there for Ben’s kids. She’s changed her life and made it more about the kids. She thought she would do that with Ben, but she hasn’t. Ben’s kids really like JLo and they love seeing their dad so happy with JLo.”
