Ben Affleck has found himself dealing with the mess that has come with his marriage to Jennifer Lopez. Despite having dated Lopez before and calling her his “dream woman,” Affleck reportedly decided to “move out” with Lopez after the honeymoon phase was over.
A source told Page Six Affleck’s dream of a harmonious union with Lopez soon turned into a tumultuous reality. “Jennifer was Ben’s dream woman. It was drama all the time,” the source revealed.
“He’s disappointed and upset and sad that it didn’t work out, even though he knows ending it is the right thing to do.”
Previously, multiple insiders said that Affleck “doesn’t agree with Jennifer’s lifestyle” and can’t tolerate Lopez’s high level of fame.

The source also elaborated on the constant presence of Lopez’s entourage, which includes a glam squad, videographers, photographers, assistants and trainers.
The source added, “Jennifer has a huge crew that’s with her every day… She’s tried to explain to Ben that being Jennifer Lopez is a 24/7 job. She’s her brand, she lives and breathes it whereas Ben can leave his job at the door if he wants.”

“Over time, it became increasingly difficult for Jennifer and Ben to communicate effectively, and small misunderstandings turned into major arguments.”

In an interview with Kevin Hart earlier this year, the Batman star described the overwhelming experience of being chased by paparazzi. “We walked out of Times Square with her and all the kids, and those punks were like bananas. I was like, ‘Oh my god.’ There was this woman, she was smoking weed, in a full purple skintight suit — she’s a heavy woman — and she starts running backwards while we’re filming, saying, ‘J-Lo!!’” Affleck recalled.
