Reports claim that Ben Affleck’s sudden mood changes led to his divorce from Jennifer Lopez.
Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from Ben Affleck on Tuesday, August 20, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason. However, sources said that Affleck’s erratic behaviour played a major role in their separation. Despite their care and love for each other, the Batman actor’s sudden mood swings broke them apart.

Ben Affleck’s erratic behavior is the main reason for divorce
As per the sources’ report, Affleck’s sudden mood swings were difficult to handle and this caused a rift between Affleck and Lopez. The source said, “The truth is that there was a lot of love between the two, but unfortunately it also became apparent that Ben couldn’t hide his erratic mood swings from the press, as much as he tried,” as reported by People.
The source revealed that “extreme mood swings” and “erratic behavior” were noticeable and that the actor would go from being “super happy and warm — which was the best light coming out of him” to “the darkest, darkest behavior” one could expect from a person. The source added, “I think he was messaging the press. But still attending.”

‘They were trying to work it out’: sources
Court documents revealed that Lopez had given the Hollywood couple’s separation date as April 26. During this time, the On The Floor singer and Affleck were trying to repair their relationship, but it was being difficult because of Affleck’s mood swings. The source said, “They were trying to deal with it, but when the mood swings and fluctuations led to a toxicity that was all-encompassing, no one can help you – you have to help yourself.”
The source believed the two loved each other and “the whole world was happy for them.” However, the source added, “Who he said he was and who he turned out to be were two different people.”
After months of speculation, the couple got divorced earlier this week. The two have not yet said anything publicly about their divorce.
