Ben Affleck is recovering well from his divorce from Jennifer Lopez and is feeling ‘happy’ and ‘free’, according to a friend.
Ben Affleck’s friend reveals how the actor is coping after his divorce from his ex-wife Jennifer Lopez. The Gigli co-stars filed for divorce after two years of marriage. The actor’s friend revealed that Affleck is “happy” and “free” after the divorce. The former Hollywood couple rekindled their love in 2021 after this time their marriage is over.

Ben Affleck said, ‘I am happy to be free’
In an interview with News Nation’s Paula Froelich, a close friend of Affleck’s revealed how the Batman actor is coping following his divorce from Lopez. They said, “(Ben) doesn’t care. He’s so happy to be free right now. She can wear all the Avenger costumes in the world – h—, she can walk down the red carpet naked – and he wouldn’t blink twice.” Meanwhile, Lopez’s friend said, “She really wants an Oscar – and to be taken seriously as an actress,” according to OK! magazine.
Lopez filed for divorce on the Georgian’s second wedding anniversary, after which they spent the entire summer apart. They also missed holidays and special celebrations, including the 4th of July, their second wedding anniversary, and Lopez’s 55th birthday. Lopez celebrated her birthday with friends and family in the Hamptons, while Affleck was busy with the shooting schedule of his upcoming film, The Accountant 2, in Los Angeles. Despite smiling for the cameras, the two did not get married for the second time.
Another source had previously revealed, “He [Lopez] She truly believed that this was the greatest love story she had ever seen and that she was finally getting her chance at the fairy tale. She never really stopped to think about who the real man was [in] Fairy tale.”

Lopez put a lot of effort into her marriage
Sources previously reported that the On The Floor singer filed for divorce because Affleck made no effort to reconcile. Another source claimed that Lopez put a lot of effort into their marriage. “She tried so hard to make things work and Ben was having none of it,” the source told the media outlet. [Lopez] She put everything into it, her whole heart. She would do anything to make it work. She opened herself up to criticism, ridicule and countless naysayers who told her it was a bad idea, that it was doomed, that there was a reason it didn’t work the first time,” he added. “But she didn’t want to believe it — she truly believed that love would conquer all.”
