Between producer Sandra Thomas, Vijay Babu moves on social media before the KFPA pole.

The Spat between older partners, actor-producer Vijay Babu and Sandra Thomas at a film production company continued on Thursday (August 14, 2025) a few hours before the election of the Kerala Film Producers Association (KFPA).

The latest bar came from Mr. Babu, who posted on Facebook that since he dissolved the partnership with Ms. Thomas, he was adopted since then was “more reliable”. The post, which pursues the image of the pet, said that he had hardly time for “Sandra’s Dog Show”.

Soon, Ms. Thomas replied, also said on Facebook, “Vijay Babu can trust the dog. I am worried about the dog who trusts Vijay Babu.”

Since the KFPA election, the two were on social media’s neck and the nomination of Ms. Thomas for the posts of President and Treasurer was rejected on the grounds that their production house has produced only two films and according to Baila, no three as per requirement. It made a heated exchange between Ms. Thomas and members of the Executive Committee, which also included the support President Suresh Kumar, who went viral on social media.

He then approached the court. However, his nomination to the Executive Committee was first accepted.

Shortly after rejection of her nomination, Mr. Babu claimed on social media that Ms. Thomas could no longer represent a Friday film house, which was initially run by both in partnership, and in the competition in disqualified positions, reminding them that she left the production house in 2016. He said “to stop the names and to stop the hog liml.”

For this, Ms. Thomas replied that the court considered a “certificate of Mr. Babu”, but the Association Bylav.

Mr. Babu took a potshot after playing his post back when the Ernakulam Deputy Court dismissed his petition challenging the rejection of his nomination to contest for the presidency. He said that he had “nothing else to say what he had said in that post” and jokingly advised him to be more vigilant to avoid being humiliated in public.

Meanwhile, the election for the KFPA Executive Committee will be held later on Thursday afternoon and the result is expected to be out in the evening.
