What’s the case against Jay Z?
In the lawsuit from attorney Tony Buzbee, the victim claims the rapper, along with Combs, raped her at a White House after-party at the VMAs. She reported that on the night of the attack she was trying to enter the VMAs in New York City, and was parked outside near several celebrity drivers. According to the lawsuit, a limo driver claiming to work for Combs invited her to an after-party.
The woman alleges that she was asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement when she reached the venue after the party. After being served drinks, he was allegedly given intoxicants. The claims further state that “Carter held her down as he vaginally raped her while Combs and Celebrity B watched. After Carter finished, he walked back towards the wall. Combs proceeded and vaginally raped the plaintiff while Carter and Celebrity B watched.
“These allegations are of such a heinous nature that I request you to file a criminal complaint and not a civil complaint!! Anyone who commits such a crime against a minor should be put in jail, wouldn’t you agree? If that were the case then these alleged victims would deserve real justice… You have made a terrible mistake in judgment thinking that all ‘celebrities’ are the same,” Jay Z responded.
