Akshay Kumar’s portrayal of Dr. Aditya Srivastava in the 2007 horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa is iconic. Many fans felt that despite Kartik Aryan’s impressive performance as the new hero, the sequel lacked the charm of the original due to Akshay’s absence.

“I am also waiting for Hera Pheri 3 to start. I don’t know, but if everything goes well it will start this year. When we started Hera Pheri, we had no idea it would become such a big cult following. Even when I saw the film I did not understand. Yes, it was fun, but none of us expected the characters of Babu Bhaiya, Raju and Shyam to become popular,” shared Akshay.
