‘Bhool Chuk Maa Maaf’: Rajkumar Rao, Vamika Gabbi set for dramatic release

ForgiveThe Rajkumar Rao and Vamika Gabbi-Starr Time Loop Comedy will now be released in theaters and not on OTT, producer Dinesh Vijan said on Thursday.

Vijan’s production banner Madock Films recently announced that the film would give up its dramatic release on May 9 and after recent events and operation vermilion, there will be a digital release on Prime Video on 16 May due to increased security exercises across the nation.

The multiplex chain Pvrinox transferred the court directly challenging the decision of its producers to release it on Prime Video. Pvrinox Limited (Pvrinox), Madock Films Pvt. Limited (Madock), and Amazon MGM Studios have reached an understanding and the film will now be released in theaters on May 23, 2025.

“As our environment begins to recover, we are especially grateful to provide a dramatic experience for a film that speaks from the heart. In these times, when family means everything, we urge the audience to head for theaters with our loved ones, share a laugh, reflect a laugh, and enjoy a story that we hope.

Vijan said in a statement, “We are incredibly grateful to our exhibitions that their constant support, flexibility and commitment to the dramatic story as partners for commitment. The atmosphere of release has changed for better, and we are proud to cooperate with them once again for the release of our film.”
