Bhootnii on Oats: When and where to see Sanjay Dutt and Mouni Roy starrer

New Delhi: Horror-Action Comedy The Bhootni, starring Sanjay Dutt and Mouni Roy, made his dramatic debut on 1 May 2025 and opened for positive reviews from both the audience and critics. Praise for her sharp cinematography and editing, the film managed to create a place among the enthusiasts of style despite a limited release.

Directed by Siddhant Kumar Sachdev, the film earned Rs 1.40 crore on its early day, considering its banned screen count.

After its dramatic success, the much awaited film is now scheduled for its digital premiere. Bhootnii would be available for streaming on ZEE5 from July 18, 2025, making fans missing their big screen, which gave an opportunity to enjoy it from home.

Announcing the premiere, Zee5 shared on social media, “Jab pyaar ki khoj mein ek bhootnii mil jaaye, toh shuru hoga a rollercaster of causes, heartbreaks and lots of ghosts lots of rollers!”

The story of the film revolves around a hatred at St. Vincent College, especially a famous “Virgin Tree” rumored to give love on Valentine’s Day. The tree is haunted by a witch – which is played by Mouni Roy – claimed the lives of many young men. When the students start watching the vision of Shantinu (Sunny Singh) the witch and attempting suicide after a breakup, the para-physicist Dr. Krishna Tripathi, also known as Baba (Sanjay Dutt), is brought to face supernatural danger. When the witch considers the human form of a woman named Mohabbat, things take a turn, which falls in love with Shantinu.

Artists include Palak Tiwari as Ananya, Nikunj Lotia as Sahil and Asif Khan as Nasir. Produced by Deepak Mukut, Sanjay Dutt, Hunar Mukut, and Soham Rockstar Entertainment and Three Dimsation Motion Pictures, the film has cinematography by Santosh Thandil and editing by Bunty Nagi.

With a mixture of humor, horror and hearty moments, the ghost is ready to reach a broad audience on its digital release.
