In Jammu and Kashmir, recently flashfluds have lost 30 people in Vaishno Devi landslide, in which network coverage is being deducted.
Telecom services have collapsed in large parts of the center area, causing millions of people to cut off from communication and deteriorated the crisis. More than 3,500 residents have been safely evacuated. District administration, J&K police, NDRF, SDRF, teams of Indian Army and local volunteers are working on withdrawal and relief in the worst areas, while the authorities have also been focused on restoring important infrastructure and essential services.
Flashfluds in Jammu and Kashmir follow the wrath of cloudbers in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Western Himalayas, including Jammu and Kashmir, are warming up faster than the rest of India, which allows the environment to carry more moisture and cause heavy rainfall. Relief work is going on in the central region.
