Big Sean recreates iconic LeBron James moment

The Bounce Back singer is currently topping social media trends, sharing an Instagram post just hours after releasing a new track, which fans speculated was a reference to Kendrick Lamar. The Wolves crooner shared a new version of LeBron James’ famous “Can’t Believe This Is My Life” post. This playful image, which James originally posted several years ago, often alludes to a feeling of nervousness.

“I smile all the time. I can’t believe this is my life,” Sean wrote.

While some saw this meme as a funny jab, it could also be Sean’s way of downplaying any perceived shade in his music. This uncertainty sparked much discussion online, with DJ Head, a well-known personality in the music world, even stepping in to explain that the song wasn’t a disparaging track targeting Lamar.

DJ Head clarifies Big Sean vs. Lamar rumor

Despite their strained relationship over the past few years, DJ Head said he spoke to Big Sean about On The Radar. However, he argued that the controversial lyrics were not meant for Kendrick Lamar, but for “another Gemini.”

Speculation grew after fans deciphered the clues and interpreted that with lyrics such as “N***as looking for an engagement like they twisted their knee. I got better things to do than feud with nobody,” Sean appeared to insert himself into the ongoing Drake vs. Lamar feud.

If not Lamar then who?

With the Kendrick Lamar speculation quickly dying down, online sleuths have turned their focus to Kanye West as the target of Big Sean’s fiery freestyle. The alleged shade stems from Kanye’s infamous 2021 Drink Champs interview, where he made some nasty comments about signing Big Sean to his label. Fans quickly figured out what was coming, with one sharp commenter noting, “He ain’t gonna forget whatever Ye said.”

“Congrats to him for attacking you. I was gonna say he can’t even think about sneaking dots again,” one x user said. “It’s not Lamar it’s Ye lol,” another said. “Kanye disrespected him so much on that show.”
