MUMBAI: The mid-week eviction left fans and viewers shocked.
Soon after the announcement of his elimination, Lovkesh came live on Instagram and thanked his fans for their support.
He said, “I have never received so much love in my life as I am receiving now. When I was getting evicted, I felt very disappointed and broken. I could see the trophy in front of me, but I couldn’t touch it. When my name was announced, tears welled up in my eyes, but I looked up and swallowed my tears to control myself. I thought I would cry only when I spoke to a member of my family.”
During the episode, Bigg Boss revealed that the ‘outsider’ theme of the season was part of a social experiment. The housemates were then asked to nominate a contestant for elimination. Lovkesh received the highest number of votes and was asked to leave the show. In a surprise twist, Armaan, who received the least number of votes, was also eliminated.
Ranvir Shorey, who had formed a close bond with both the evicted contestants, was visibly upset. Sana Maqbool too couldn’t hold back tears while reminiscing her time with Armaan and Lovkesh.
Bigg Boss OTT is a spin-off of the immensely popular Bigg Boss franchise, which was first hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar on Voot.
However, the reins were later handed over to Bollywood megastar Salman Khan for the second season.
Meanwhile, the finale episode of the popular show hosted by Anil Kapoor is set to air on August 2. The finalists of the season are Sana Maqbool, Kratika Malik, Ranvir Shorey, Naezy and Sai Ketan Rao.
