Their divorce was due to irreconcilable differences, Firoz said, recalling their early relationship and its challenges.
Billy Ray Cyrus’ ex-wife Firoz has confessed that she would have told her younger self to walk away from marriage with the country singer. The two cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their divorce. In a recent interview, he revealed how the two met almost a decade ago. However, Firoz wanted to be able to avoid marrying Billy altogether.

Firoz remembers her tumultuous marriage
While Billie claimed that the two of them were “soulmates”, Firoz did not share this sentiment when they first met in Los Angeles in 2010. She was leaving an audition in Hollywood where Hannah Montana was filmed. She recalled that they immediately started talking and he even petted his dog. He then offered to introduce her to everyone on the set. They remained in touch and their romance rekindled during the Covid pandemic.
The Australian singer said, “I couldn’t even see 10 years into the future. When I think about what I’ve been through, I tell my 22-year-old self to run in the opposite direction and never look back.” He continued, “He would say strange things, ‘We Gonna create an epic love story beyond any imagination. We’ll have twins and we’ll call them Melody and Harmony.”
As RadarOnline reports, Firerose claimed the country singer promised to go horseback riding at her Nashville farm and that he would take her to an exclusive beach in California.

Firoz got away from her family
The 34-year-old revealed she became estranged from her family during her turbulent relationship with Billy but she initially thought he was “protective” of her. She told Stellar, “Suddenly, instead of my usual lively, sociable nature, I became very introverted unless we were working or in public together, where I would often try to be overly positive. Because I was afraid to let anyone see how disastrously I had retreated.”
She claimed that their divorce filing on May 23 came just one day before she was scheduled to undergo the first of two planned mastectomy surgeries. The 63-year-old woman contested the claims by requesting the judge to subpoena her medical records.
