In August, reporter Kjersti Fla shared an excerpt from the ‘nightmare’ 2016 interview with Blake Lively that made her want to quit her job.
Blake Lively a few days ago accused It End’s With Us director and co-star Justin Baldoni of harassment and running a smear campaign to destroy her reputation. Now, journalist Kjersti Fla has denied any involvement in the smear campaign, sharing a new video statement on her Instagram.
In August, as the drama surrounding It End’s With Us was making headlines, Flaa gave a 2016 interview with the actor and claimed it was “the most uncomfortable interview situation” she had ever experienced. In the new video statement, Fla said, “Okay so I have to say something because now I’m starting to see things start to deteriorate and people are starting to think that because of the smear campaign that was launched against Blake Lively “I had something to do with it.” Reportedly by Justin Baldoni and his team. I see a lot of dirty work going on behind the scenes. I just wanted to say that I have nothing to do with it. I would never participate in anything like that. This is a big insult for me. I don’t want any part of it. i posted a video [showing] How Blake Lively was behaving in my interview and that’s it.”

The 2016 interview took place while Blake Lively was promoting the Woody Allen-directed Café Society. When Fla began the interview by complimenting the actor on his ‘little bump’, Blake replied: “Congratulations on your little bump.” Fla uploaded a YouTube video titled, “The Blake Lively interview that inspired me to quit my job.”
Meanwhile, in an 80-page complaint, Blake has now accused Justin Baldoni of sexual harassment and running a smear campaign against her. The lawsuit also names key figures in his production company and individuals who were allegedly involved in the campaign, including the film’s lead producer, Jamie Heath, Wayfarer co-owner Steve Sarowitz and several others. Baldoni and his production company, Wayfarer Studios, have denied the allegations.
