Blake Lively recently broke her silence on the incident that happened during Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour earlier this week. The 34-year-old singer had to cancel her three-night stay in Vienna, Austria due to terrorist threats. During a promotional event for her new film It Ends With Us, Lively spoke about the incident and called it “terrible.”

The 36-year-old actress was asked about her thoughts on the Eras Tour terror threats during a press event in London. In a video footage shared on TikTok, an Access Hollywood reporter can be heard asking how “worried” she was about the incident. Affected by the devastating news, Lively said, “Oh, my God. I mean, how horrible. But thank God they’ve totally got over it.”
Although Swift has not yet spoken publicly about the Eras Tour incident, the news of the cancellation of the Vienna show was announced on Taylor Nation’s official social media accounts. The statement read, “Following confirmation by government officials of a planned terrorist attack at Ernst Happel Stadium, we have no choice but to cancel three scheduled shows for the safety of everyone.”
The Blank Space singer and the All I See Is You star have been friends since 2015, when they first connected on social media. As time went on, the friendship between the two only grew stronger, with Swift naming Lively’s three children, James, Inez, and Betty, whom the actress shares with Ryan Reynolds, on her 2020 album Folklore. Despite the Simple Favors star expressing her concern about her friend’s safety during Thursday’s press event, the reporter’s choice of question didn’t go over well with fans.
