Rumors are rife that there is a rift between It Ends With Us director and lead actor Justin Baldoni and his co-star and co-producer Blake Lively.
Justin Baldoni, recently hired to be Johnny Depp’s crisis PR manager, must now have an idea who he’s up against. TMZ The report claims that his It Ends With Us co-star Blake Lively has privately levelled harassment allegations against the actor-filmmaker. Blake’s allegations
The report states that Blake was telling people that Justin allegedly fat-shamed her. The context was that she had to lift Blake in a scene, but since she had long-standing back problems, she asked the on-set trainer how much he weighed so she could prepare accordingly. “We’re told the comment really upset Blake, who gave birth to her and husband Ryan Reynolds’ fourth child in February 2023,” the report claims.
Another incident on set that upset Blake was an intimate scene in which Blake “felt he lingered longer than he should have during the kiss.” The report also claims that their co-stars and crew agree that the two are no longer on the same page, but some of them also supported Justin, who is being portrayed as the problem. There is also a story that this is just a gimmick to keep the movie in the news.

It Ends with Us follows Lily Bloom’s (Blake) journey from a traumatic childhood to achieving her dreams. Along the way, she meets neurosurgeon Riley Kincaid (played by Justin) and reconnects with her first love, Atlas Corrigan (Brandon Sklenar), leading to emotional complications reminiscent of her parents’ relationship. It is an adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s novel of the same name.
The film released last Friday and grossed an unexpected $50 million at the North American box office. It ranked #2, just behind Ryan’s buddy Marvel film Deadpool and Wolverine, which released the night before. However, Blake’s film is made on a modest budget of $25 million, and is thus likely to score a higher ROI for the producers. Interestingly, Blake also did a voice cameo as Lady Deadpool in her husband’s film.
