Matthew Lewis and Tom Felton enjoyed a game of cricket recently.

Who defeated whom?

Tom shared a few pictures on his Instagram handle in which he is seen wearing a black T-shirt and grey cap and posing with Matthew Lewis, who played Neville in the Harry Potter movies, who is wearing a white Gryffindor T-shirt. The charity cricket match was based on the Harry Potter theme, with Matthew’s Gryffindor team taking on Tom’s Slytherin team, with the former defeating the latter by just one run. In the first picture, Tom flashed his special Draco Malfoy smile while Matthew smiled like a winner. In the next picture, Tom too joined him smiling.

The charity match was organised by former stunt performer David Holmes, who posed with both actors in the pictures. David was paralysed on the sets of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 in 2010. He has been organising charity cricket matches for years, with the proceeds going to the hospitals that treated him. In fact, Daniel Radcliffe, who plays the lead in the Harry Potter franchise, co-produced an HBO documentary called David Holmes: The Boy Who Lived last year, which depicted the journey of his stunt double.

where are they now?

Tom, 36, was last seen in Joel David Moore’s psychological thriller Some Other Woman last year. He will next be seen in the film Altered and will play a British officer in Hansal Mehta’s historical show Gandhi, which is based on the life of Mahatma Gandhi, known in India as the Father of the Nation. This will be Tom’s acting debut in an Indian production. Pratik Gandhi, best known for Hansal’s 2020 financial thriller show Scam 1992, will play Gandhi.

Meanwhile, Matthew last starred in the BBC One drama series Avoidance. A Harry Potter reboot series is also in the works on HBO, which will be adapted from the seven books written by JK Rowling.
