Warner Bros. Animation and DC Studios are planning to create such an event blue beetle animated series, reports deadline. Miguel Puga, who is working on the project, will serve as the series’ showrunner and director.
Christian Martinez will write the series. The 2023 film’s directors and writers Angel Manuel Soto and Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer will executive produce alongside John Rickard.
The animation series will be based on the film but will tell a new story. The series will be developed under the previous management of DC Studios.
