Bobby Deol made a spectacular comeback last year with the role of ruthless villain Abrar Haq in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film. Recalling that moment, Bobby said, “I still remember when I was shooting this sequence. Sandeep narrated the scene to me and he said, ‘This is your wedding and you have to dance.’ I said, ‘I can’t dance with the choreographer’ and I started dancing. Bobby Deol further added, “So I went to Saurabh Sachdeva, the actor who played my brother in the film. I asked him, ‘How will you dance?’ And she started dancing and suddenly I don’t know what happened to me, I started remembering all these memories of all times.
The actor revealed his inspiration for Viral jamal kudu The dance step came from his childhood trips to Punjab. Bobby Deol said, “As a child, I used to go to Punjab during summer and winter holidays. At night, the men would drink alcohol and suddenly a music would play and they would dance to it, holding glasses and bottles on their heads. So I said to myself, let me just try to do that and I did that a few times.
Bobby Deol admits he was surprised by the massive response his unique film received jamal kudu dance. “I had no idea that my dance style would become so popular. I just put the glass on my head and started dancing, next thing I know, it went viral. It’s absolutely amazing,” the actor said.
