Brahmand making: Ali Fazal trains with MMA fighter Ubert Barbagalo

Mumbai: Actor Ali Fazal is currently for intensive training in Jujutsu under the Italian expert and Black Belt Umberto Barbagall, which is for the preparation of the next program of the vs Brahmand. Speaking about the preparation, a source of production said, “Ali was clear from the beginning that he wanted to train properly for the role.”

The source said, “He did not want to rely on doubles for action scenes. That is why the team brought it to Umberto, so that he could help him bring it to shape and learn technology.” The “Rahat Brahmand” is produced by filmmakers Raj and DK and directed by Rahi Anil Barwe. The series also features Aditya Roy Kapoor, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Vamika Gabbi. “Rakat universe: The Bloody Kingdom”, is an action fantasy television series on Netflix directed by Rahi Anil Barve.

It is based on a Marathi short story Vidushksh by Ga Kulkarni, the series is set to premiere as a six-episode limited series on Netflix. The first season is allegedly set in a fictional state, where it focuses on the conflict between the two princes who are dying for the throne of the state. In March, Ali talked about how he has been growing his hair for a year, training 6-7 hours a day to build the right body and dive into the Indian martial arts of the old school to make his action scenes as authentic as possible.

His preparation includes intense load training, diction coaching and immersive learning of ancient Indian martial arts. The actor had said: “It was an easy decision for me to sign the ashes the universe because it is contrary to anything I did. The depth, scale and sheer vision of the project is incredible.” But the role of this magnitude brings great responsibility, Ali said.

“I knew from the first day that it would require acute physical and mental preparation. I am training about 6-7 hours a day-to make a weight training to make the right body, diction classes to correct my speech, or to dive into Indian martial arts of the old school to make my action sequences raw and raw and to make my action sequences raw.”

“The real challenge is pushing my body and mind beyond their boundaries. This process is demanding, but it is also incredibly rewarding. I can’t wait to the audience that we are looking at the world that we are making and making it with the universe.”
