BTS dominates Jun brand rankings a few days after Jin’s comeback; Lim Young Woong and Seventeen fall behind

BTS has come back on top. The K-pop boy band has regained its leading position after a drop in the rankings while the members continue to serve in the military instead of active music creation or brand endorsements and other activities. However, in June, the oldest member, Jin, made his grand comeback, causing the dynamite singers’ brand rankings to skyrocket. Earlier in May, trot singer Lim Young Woong took the top spot, followed by girl groups IVE and aespa, while BTS ranked 7th.

BTS members will reunite in 2025 with a new contract.

BTS beats popular trot singer to top June brand rankings

The Korea Brand Reputation Research Institute recently unveiled its monthly analysis, which takes into account fans’ online activity, media coverage, and community buzz around active singers. Even though several BTS members are fulfilling their military duties, the K-pop sensation managed to reclaim his top spot after only Jin returned to action.

He is followed by Seventeen with 5,150,273 points and IVE with 4,560,096 points.
