BTS’s Jin hasn’t wasted a minute since being discharged from his military duty in June. As the only member of the group currently active in the entertainment industry while the six others fulfill their national obligations, Kim Seokjin stepped down to business with his first official activity since his comeback to celebrate the group’s 11th anniversary event – 2024 BTS Festa – on June 13.
The booked and busy K-pop star will soon resume a more traditional position, making his first variety show appearance since his military discharge. The group’s members have long been known for their charismatic auras, which shine in any entertainment project. The eldest member is particularly known for his cute, upbeat charm, which has always found a way to make his fans smile even in the worst of times.
The “Moon” and “Astronaut” singer is reportedly set to appear in a future episode of South Korean network MBC’s variety show “Relax and Rest” (which is listed as “Half-Star Hotel in Lost Island”).

According to a July 1 report by Star News, the beloved singer served as a guest star on an episode of the show filmed on a deserted island last month.
Jin has already connected with his fans through an in-person hug event for BTS’ anniversary this year. With his upcoming variety show episode schedule, he is all set to win everyone’s hearts, showing off his ever-so-cute and delightful personality and strength of character.

The indispensable BTS member is widely admired for his enthusiastic ways. He is often featured as the main character in the group’s original variety shows, most notably “Run BTS!”
Additionally, Jin has also shown his entertaining skills in other shows such as “Please Take Care of My Refrigerator”, “The Running Man”, and “My Little Old Boy”.

On June 30, the K-pop idol’s Weverse conversation with a fan caught fans’ attention as he told everyone about his busy schedule. “I’ve been recording, filming variety shows, and moving forward with the plans I made in the army. My goal is to make consistent appearances while focusing on my main profession. Please wait a little longer for the results, which will be released in a few months.”
About Relax and Rest / Half-Star Hotel Variety Show in Lost Island
In this new 2024 outdoor reality show, football legend Ahn Jung Hwan, aka “Ahn Village Chief”, embarks on an adventure to convert an abandoned house on a deserted island into a hotel. Several guests join him on his unique journey.
NCT’s Doyoung, MONSTA X’s Shownu, IVE’s Rei and CLC’s Yeeun, as well as South Korean actors such as Lee Sung Min and Kyung Soo Jin have made guest appearances on the show so far.
