The chairman of HYBE, who is currently embroiled in a legal dispute with its subsidiary ADOR and CEO Min Hee Jin, took to Instagram to share a photo with Kim Seokjin after he was discharged from the military following 18 months of dedicated service. While Bang Si Hyuk has long been admired in the BTS universe for acting almost like a father figure to the K-pop idols, his recent controversy with Newshin has left fans divided. Internet users reacted poorly to the image, claiming Bang Si Hyuk is using Jin to restore his reputation.
In the photo, the Astronaut singer looks stunning in a sleek black pantsuit paired with a crisp white shirt and a stylish necktie. Holding a bouquet, he confidently looks at the camera while Bang Si Hyuk smiles next to him. The caption reads, “With Jin. Congratulations on your successful comeback!”

Other comments included, “Move so I can see Jin,” and “You should put up a reminder in the HYBE building about how you should be nice to him.” One fan said, “I can’t believe someone like him is the president. He can’t run a label.”

The photo posted on June 13 shows a clear view of Bang Si Hyuk, who was previously spotted appearing in court during his ongoing dispute with Min Hee Jin. Netizens immediately noticed that the HYBE chairman has lost a lot of weight, leading to speculation about the reason behind his weight loss.
