BTS member Jungkook has announced the release of his first official documentary Jungkook: I’m Still. On X (formerly Twitter), BTS’ official account shared a video of the singer sharing the news with his fans. The documentary will premiere on September 18. Jungkook shares a message for the BTS Army

In the brief clip, Jungkook said, “From my first official solo track, Seven, to the promos for my studio album, Golden, my year has been filled with golden moments of happiness. Thank you for all the love you’ve given me. Today I’m here to share some really amazing news with everyone.”

After making the announcement, Jungkook said, “For me, Golden was a series of constant new challenges, a long journey that led to a long album filled with songs of diverse genres. All the moments I connected with ARMY from around the world through music and many behind-the-scenes stories I didn’t get a chance to share. It tells the full story of Jungkook as a solo artist.”

Jungkook: I’m Still will be released next month

A note was shared on Weverse. It read, “Hello. We would like to inform you about the premiere of BTS member Jungkook’s documentary film. The film Jungkook: I’m Still will premiere in cinemas worldwide on September 18, 2024. The documentary Jungkook: I’m Still follows the eight-month journey of the talented and ever-growing artist Jungkook to becoming a ‘global pop star’ who captivated the global music scene and reflects the star’s heartfelt love for his fans, ARMY.”

It also states, “Watch how Jungkook prepared for his debut solo album Golden, footage from the live, internationally-acclaimed performance at various locations, and never-before-released behind-the-scenes footage of Jungkook’s innermost thoughts – all in his first-ever documentary film.”

Currently, Jungkook is serving in the South Korean military.
