BTS RM and Megan Thee Stallion collaboration confirmed: ‘The world is not ready…’

Speculation of a collaboration began after Megan Thee Stallion posted a social media post on X on Thursday, August 29. Her post consisted solely of emojis, including a horse, a purple heart, and a side eye with an X symbol between the first two emojis. The purple heart led to speculation that it could be a sign of a possible collaboration with BTS.

The name Purple Heart has long been associated with the Korean boy band. However, it seems that the speculation has just been confirmed.

Megan Thee Stallion to collaborate with BTS

Recently, the official account of BTS On X quoted the Mamushi singer’s tweet and added emojis of a hedgehog and a koala. This addition led fans to believe that the collaboration could be with RM whose BT21 sticker is also a koala named Koya. As All Kpop reports, the hedgehog could be a fun reference to the Korean rapper’s current hairstyle.

While some others also speculated if the song would be included in the upcoming movie, Sonic the Hedgehog 3, and others wondered if the emoji had any connection to the song’s title.

Megan last collaborated with BTS in 2021 for their hit song Butter and their collaboration agreement also mentions two more songs. One song will be for the group and one song will be for his singer.

Fans react to BTS and Megan Thee Stallion’s new collaboration

The new collaboration has left fans excited for the new song. “OMG OMG something is coming,” wrote one user on X. “This is the swap we’ve been waiting for!!” A third user wrote, “Oh my god yesssss we won!!! We will all be streaming!!!”

One user wrote, “I swear the world is shaking,” while another added, “OMG how do you breathe this news in? Coming soon!”
