BTS Jin recently removed one of his hit singles from the music streaming platform despite earning such huge numbers. The K-pop idol removed his goofy song Super Tuna, which was released in 2021. However, fans need not worry as he soon released an extended version of the song for fans.

New version of BTS Jin’s deleted song tops US charts
In 2021, Jin unexpectedly released Super Tuna as a gift to his fans on his birthday. The song was a tribute to his love for fishing. Murthy was shocked when the song was liked by fans and became one of Murthy’s most popular songs. Thus, he recently removed the song from all music-streaming platforms, only to be replaced by an extended version of the song, as reported by Koreaboo.
Also known by fans as World Wide Handsome, he announced the release of the new version in a live stream on Weverse on October 10. The stream was to celebrate bandmate, Jimin’s birthday, which is on September 13. The Super Tuna-expanded version was released on Thursday, October 11.
While the previous version of the song had garnered a huge number of streams, ARMYs made sure that the extended version got the same amount of love. The song also debuted at #1 on the iTunes US charts worldwide.

Fans react to Jin removing Super Tuna
Despite the new version, fans were surprised that Jin removed the original Super Tuna song, which had a large number of streams. One fan wrote on X, “Why doesn’t Super Tuna 1 exist? It had 100 million streams! You can combine streams. Please let me know if this is a bug, I can’t believe it’s been removed!!” Another user wrote, “So what you’re telling me is that OG Super Tuna no longer exists Seok-jin actually deleted a song with 136M streams??
A third user wrote, “Hey the old version of Super Tuna got deleted which had over 100 million streams He wasn’t kidding when he said they requested it to be removed but why? He had achieved a lot and now it is all over?”
Another user wrote, “Super Tuna old version has been removed on Spotify. Our memories and they are not 136M streams,” while one wrote, “Who removed the original Super Tuna from the streaming platform?? Does he know that we are struggling for our lives to increase his streams.
