The report also states that Celine was spotted in Paris when she visited the Royal Monceau Hotel near the Champs-Elysees. This is the same place where Lady Gaga, who is also rumoured to be performing at the opening ceremony, has been staying for a few days.
Details about Celine Dion’s performance remain under wraps. If she returns to the stage in Paris on July 26, it will be the singer’s first performance since halting her tour in December 2022 after suffering from stiff person syndrome.

Celine revealed that after struggling for several months with health issues including muscle spasms and stiffness, she was officially diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS), a rare autoimmune disorder.
The singer made a surprise appearance at the Grammy Awards in February this year, when she came on stage and received a standing ovation. She presented the last award of the night—the award for Album of the Year—to Taylor Swift’s Midnight. “When I say, I’m happy to be here, I truly mean it from my heart,” she said.
On June 25, a documentary called I Am | Celine Dion was released on Amazon Prime Video, taking an in-depth look at her diagnosis with a rare neurological disorder and the consequences it had on her life and career.
The Paris Olympics are scheduled to be held in France from 26 July to 11 August 2024.
