The film, which depicts the life of India’s first Paralympic gold medalist Murlikant Petkar, has shown a remarkable growth on its third day. The film, which is slated to release on June 14, 2024, stars an ensemble cast of Vijay Raj, Bhuvan Arora, Rajpal Yadav and Shreyas Talpade in the lead roles. Known for his successful track record in Bollywood, Kartik Aaryan has done several hit films such as Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, and Sonu Ki Titu Ki SweetyDespite his distinctive playing style, Chandu Champion opened with 5.40 crores on day one and reached 7.70 crores on day two, accumulating a total of 13.10 crores by the end of day two.
According to reports, the early trends of the third day indicate another jump for the film, which is estimated to be between 10 and 10.80 crores, indicating a growth of around 29.87-40.25% compared to Saturday’s collections. With high expectations for Bakrid, the film aims to maintain its momentum, expected to gross between 23.10 and 23.90 crores over the weekend. However, it faces upcoming competition from Kalki 2898 AD in ten days, which poses a potential challenge at the box office.
