New Delhi: Kartik Aaryan’s upcoming film Chandu Champion is jointly produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Kabir Khan. The film is set to present the nation’s heartthrob in a never seen before avatar. The ambitious project is based on the inspiring journey of India’s first Paralympic gold medalist Murlikant Petkar.
Veteran actor Suniel Shetty, who recently appeared on the finale episode of dance reality show ‘Dance Deewane’, praised the dedication of the producers and Kartik Aaryan. He said, “Sajid bhai (Sajid Nadiadwala) is very close to me. And he definitely says one thing about Kartik. The dedication and sincerity with which Kartik has done this film. It is unbelievable. He has endured everything. Okay, there is body transformation. People do that. But the dedication with which he has done it. I think you have not even eaten sweets for the last 1.5 years.”
Kartik Aaryan replied, “Yes sir, a lot of hard work has been put into this film for 2 years. And in fact, for 1.5 to 2.75 years, sugar was considered poison. And we were not eating it.”
The makers released the teaser of the first song ‘Satyanas’ composed by Pritam. ‘Chandu Champion’, jointly produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Kabir Khan, is set to release on June 14, 2024.
