Diddy was arrested on Monday, months after federal authorities raided his luxury properties in LA and Miami while investigating sex crime allegations against him.
Sean “Diddy” Combs has been accused of running a sex trafficking ring, according to a federal indictment unsealed Tuesday. The embattled hip-hop legend was arrested in Manhattan on Monday, September 16.
The “Bad Boy for Life” was taken into custody nearly six months after federal agents raided his Los Angeles and Miami mansions in connection with sex crime allegations leveled against him in multiple lawsuits.
Despite being accused of sexually and physically assaulting multiple people, the Bad Boy Records founder has consistently denied the allegations. He offered a similar story in his lawsuit against his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, who also accused her ex of a decade-long assault that allegedly began when she was 19.
Although he quickly settled the suit filed in November 2023, he had to do a U-turn earlier this year when CNN showed old footage from 2016 in which Combs brutally beat and dragged Cassie across a now-closed hotel lobby. Puff Daddy later released an “apology” video on Instagram that didn’t mention his then-girlfriend even once.
The disgraced rapper and his lawyer have repeatedly denied the major allegations against him. His lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, took the same stance on Tuesday morning, telling media outside court that his client will prove his innocence while he will “fight tooth and nail” to get his client released.
