Samanta called for the removal of the scene, labeled it “objectionable material”, and urged filmmakers to consult historians before releasing the film.
“Chhatrapati Sambhaji Raje appears dancing in the film. The director should cut this part. The film should be shown to historians and scholars. If they raise objections, we will not allow it to be released, ”he asked the news agency ANI.
