Actor Chris Hemsworth has been honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The ‘Thor’ star was honoured with the star on Thursday in the presence of his family and actor Robert Downey Jr.
Downey paid tribute to Hemsworth on Hollywood Boulevard when Hemsworth received his star. According to People, Downey brought with him a list of “roasts” of other Marvel costars, each of whom described him in three words.
“First of all, [Jeremy] “Absurd, disturbing, wonderful,” says Reiner. [Mark] Ruffalo made his strong appearance with the song ‘Friend from Work.’ This is a comeback, I get it now,” Downey Jr. said to the crowd, which also included Hemsworth’s ‘Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga’ director George Miller, co-star Anya Taylor-Joy and Hemsworth’s family.
He added, “Scarlett [Johansson] Got to the core with a ‘sensitive leading lady.’ Captain America [Chris Evans] calls him ‘the second best Chris.'” Hemsworth and Downey portray the two main Avengers superheroes, Thor and Iron Man, respectively, alongside Evans, 42, Johansson, 39, Renner, 53, and Ruffalo, 56. Hemsworth most recently starred as Thor in 2022’s Love and Thunder.
“Chris is a little hard to describe. He’s very elusive because of the beautiful packaging. However, upon further investigation, he has a true intelligence and a depth to his soul, and it’s been a great pleasure for me to have known you for so many years,” Downey said in his speech. “You stun people in Hollywood because you’re a real man.”

Chris also posed for photos with his wife, Elsa Pataky, and their three kids — daughter India Rose and twin sons Sasha and Tristan.
The Hollywood Walk of Fame is an iconic sidewalk attraction in Los Angeles where stars’ names are inscribed in honor of their achievements in the entertainment industry.
