Chris Pratt says he’s open to stepping into the DC Universe if ‘it makes sense’

A few days later when he went to his home Guardians of the Galaxy Director and new DCU co-head James Gunn on the set of the upcoming film SupermanActor Chris Pratt says he would love to be a part of the franchise but there are some conditions for it.

The actor who played Peter Quill/Star-Lord Guardians of the Galaxy The co-founder and co-creator of the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe trilogy, which is under the DCU’s rival Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), said the opportunity had to fit into his schedule and be meaningful.

When asked if he would like to join the DC franchise, now headed by Gunn and Peter Safran, Pratt said TMZ“yes of course.”

He said, “If it can fit into my schedule and it makes sense, I would love it. Of course, I love playing Star-Lord, and hopefully an opportunity like that can come back. I just feel so fortunate that I can do any of this, any of this is worth considering. If it’s right and the fans would love it, I’d be more than happy to do it.”

Earlier this month, the 45-year-old actor visited the sets of the film directed by Gunn. Superman Sharing his photo on social media, the filmmaker wrote, “It’s always nice to have friends on set.”

In the interview, Pratt added that there’s “always a chance” for him to make the jump to the franchise. When asked which character he would like to play, he said, “I’ll have to leave that decision to the fans and people like James. I’m not sure at all. I’m really not sure.

David Corenswet stars in the title role, alongside Nicholas Hoult, Anthony Carrigan, Isabela Merced, and Nathan Fillion. Superman Expected to release in July 2025.
