New Delhi: Bollywood actor Suchitra Krishnamurthy criticized on Thursday when he publicly questioned the validity of Vishwas Kumar Ramesh’s existence, which was killed by the only survivor of tragic Air India in Ahmedabad.
In a post-re-post on social media platform X (East Twitter), Krishnamurthy suspected Ramesh’s identity and existence, writing:
“So this #Vishwaskumarramesh lied about being a passenger on the aircraft and the sole survivor? It’s severely strange … not only some serious punishment but some mental refuge is worth if it is true if it is true.”
The comments were immediately completed with the backlash online, stating that Ramesh’s identity and existence was officially confirmed by Ahmedabad Hospital where they were getting treatment. Critics accused Kabhi Han Kabi Naye the actor and accused them of targeting hunting of the national tragedy without evidence and targeting hunting without any national tragedy.
Amidst the wave of angry reactions, a user wrote, “You all apologize, disadvantage – your reputation for hard work is irreparable,” while another called him “an alleged star, role model and a absolutely pathetic excuse for the person.” Amid criticism, Krishnamurthy released a public apology in a single day. He admitted his mistake in a follow -up post:
“Tweet on Air India Survivor – I looked at the insta feed of the former Times of India Journalist. So it was wrongly assumed that it could be shared in a hurry. It was a mistake. My apology once again.”
