Creator of CoolieUnveiledThe much awaited trailer for the film Rajinikanth on Friday (02 August 2025). The PAN-Indian film, directed by Lokesh Kanagarj and by Sun Pictures, will hit the screen on August 14, 2025.
The trailer introduced the dangerous world of opposing Simon played by Akini Nagarjuna. The Telugu superstar’s voiceover sets tone for action-pack trailer. Rajinikanth plays the most desired Coolie, Which revival after 30 years to save his beloved friend (contained by Satyaraj) from the clutches of Simon.
The biggest wonder in the trailer is a glimpse of Vintage Rajinikanth as producers tease a retro look of superstars. There is two timeliness in the story because Rajinikanth’s character, Dev, mentions his deadly past.
A three -minute trailer, which gives a glimpse of a huge and complex crime around the shipping ports, is filled with slic action scenes, explosive sequences and violent clashes. Although the trailer does not far away about the details of Rajinikanth’s character, the veteran star is allegedly playing the role of a former gold smuggler, who revives his past by reviving his old gang.
Coolie IsIt is said to be a standalone film and is not part of Lokesh’s famous Lokesh Cinematic Universe. Saubin Shahir, Upendra, and Shruti Haasan did rounds from the Star-Staded Cast, in which Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan is also playing a major character called Dha.
Anirudh Ravichender – Three songs of the film composed by ‘Powerhouse’, ‘Chikitu Vibe’ and ‘Monica’ have already become chartbasters. Coolie The censor was also in the news of obtaining a ‘A’ certificate from the board. It is the first 36-year-old Rajinikanth film, which is ‘A-Retted’.

Coolie Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi and Kannada are set to be released. Meanwhile, Rajinikanth is shooting Jailor 2, 2023 sequel to blockbuster Jailor, Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar.
