Chennai: The makers of Rajinikanth’s much awaited drama “Cool” have unveiled a special song from Flicks, “Chikitu”. The primary track of the film consists of Rajinikanth, composer Anirudh Ravichender, song singer T Rajendra and choreographer Sandy. Pepping number has flaunted all of them on energetic beats their funny dance moves. Added to the glam quotient, Southern Beauty Pooja Hegde is also seen creating a special appearance in “chikitu”.
Sun Pictures, the creator of “Coolie”, took his X (earlier known as Twitter) to the timeline and shared the song with caption, “Cooli and Solikko ..! #Chikitu music video is now out! “Chikitu” has been released in many languages ​​including Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Along with this, Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist, Aamir Khan will also be seen making a cameo appearance in the film, as well as Reebe, Monica John and Junior MGR. Girish Gangadharan is responsible for the film’s camera work, along with Anirudh Ravichender as composer.
Philomin Raj is the head of the editing department of the film. “Cool” marks the reunion of Satyaraj and Rajinikanth after a long gap of 38 years. The two actors were last seen sharing screen space in “Sri Bharat” in the 1986 superhit Tamil, where Satyaraj played the role of Rajinikanth’s father.
It is believed that Satyaraj rejected Rajinikanth’s proposal to be a part of a pair of previous films such as “Thron”, and “Shivaji”. It should also be noted that Rajinikanth’s 171st film “Cool” is not part of Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU). Supported by Kalanithi Maran under Sun Pictures Banner, “Cool” is set for a dramatic release on August 14 this year.
