Sonakshi Sinha, who is reportedly set to marry her longtime boyfriend Zaheer Iqbal next week, spent Sunday with her in-laws. Sonakshi happily posed in a perfect family frame with Zaheer Iqbal, his parents and her sister Sanam Ratansi. In the picture, bride-to-be Sonakshi Sinha can be seen wearing a bright co-ord suit. She is seen with a big smile. Dressed in his casual best, Zaheer Iqbal can be seen posing with his family. The picture was shared by Sonakshi’s sister-in-law Sanam Ratansi. Meanwhile, Sonakshi’s family friend and uncle Pahlaj Nihalani has blessed the couple and said that he will be attending the wedding. Speaking to Zoom, he said, “I am Sonakshi’s maternal uncle. All my blessings to her and Zaheer. They are finally getting married. I send them my best wishes.” When asked if he knew that Sonakshi and Zaheer would get married, he said, “Naturally, these days kids make their own decisions; so parents should be happy. A couple has to live a married life and that is the main thing. They should be in love and comfortable with each other.”
Veteran actress Poonam Dhillon also confirmed the wedding and in a recent interview with Instant Bollywood revealed that she has received the wedding invitation. Poonam Dhillon said, “I wish Sonakshi all the best. She has sent a lovely invitation. I have known her since she was a little girl. I have seen her entire journey. I pray to God that she stays happy. She is a sweet, warm and loving girl. So I wish her lots of happiness and joy.”
Sonakshi Sinha’s wedding rumours have been doing the rounds after an India Today report claimed that Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are set to get married on June 23. As per the report, close friends, family members and the cast of Heeramandi have already received the invitations. The wedding will reportedly be celebrated at Bastian in Mumbai. However, the couple is yet to confirm the date. Earlier, Sonakshi’s father Shatrughan Sinha and brother Luv Sinha had maintained silence regarding the preparations.
Sonakshi and Zaheer have been rumoured to be dating since 2020. They shared screen space in the 2022 film Double XL. They also appeared in the music video duo Blockbuster last year.
